Originally created in the kitchen of founder David Mintz's Manhattan buffet to meet the needs of Kosher customers, Tofutti dairy-free frozen desserts and cheeses have been delighting customers since 1981.

Today, Tofutti provides dairy-free alternatives to customers from all walks of life. Tofutti Brands, Inc. continues to be a worldwide leader in plant-based dairy-free, vegan foods.

David passed away in February of 2021 leaving behind a legacy of innovation and millions of customers both old and new.
